About the venue
The Altona function room, located adjacent to the Chapel of Peace and the Chapel of Repose, is one of two venues available at Altona Memorial Park for wakes or post-funeral functions.
For an outdoor setting, there is also the marquee, with views across to the sculptural ornamental gardens of the Court of Four Seasons.
Following a cremation or burial service, families and friends can gather together to support each other and share refreshments in the reception room. From tea, coffee and light refreshments, to buffet-style catering, our team can tailor a package to suit your family’s needs.
Room hire includes exclusive use of the function room for 1½ hours.
