Burial vaults
Burial vaults are a reinforced concrete chamber that allows families to establish an impressive stone monument over the grave.
Overview
Burial vaults are pre-cast concrete-lined graves. The sides and bottom of the grave are lined with concrete, and the vault is sealed with a concrete lid.
At the time of burial, the lid is removed and the coffin or casket is lowered into the vault. The vault is then filled with sand rather than earth. Once the burial has taken place, a stonemason can be commissioned to establish a stone monument.
Burial vaults can accommodate up to two interments.
