Crofts Avenue at Altona Memorial Park will be closed to all traffic on Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 February while we complete work on the private mausoleum.
To help visitors move safely through the park, a detour will be in place via Patterson Drive for access to Callistemon Place, and the Lomandra and Banksia Lawns.
During this time parking will not be available on Sidway Avenue. We ask visitors to the Mt Olivet, Gazebo and Arbour areas to park at the northern end of Crofts Avenue and walk to these locations.
We’ll have clear signage in place to guide visitors through the park. We expect traffic and parking arrangements to return to normal on Friday 20 February.
