We are holding a range free events across our sites to recognise Mother's Day this year.
We recognise that this day can mean something different to each of us. Whether you’re celebrating with mum, remembering her, or honouring a mother figure in your life, you are welcome.
Floral workshops
In the week leading up to Mother’s Day, we’re hosting free, one-hour floral workshops at Fawkner, Altona and Lilydale Memorial Parks, led by Hello Hydie Flowers.
In these workshops, you'll create a bouquet to keep or lay at a loved one's memorial, as well as a small posy to gift to cemetery visitors on Mother's Day.
These relaxed workshops are open to everyone in our community. All flowers, tools and materials are provided, with light refreshments throughout. No experience needed.

Flower stands and complimentary refreshments
On Mother's Day, Sunday 10 May, visit us at Altona, Lilydale, Fawkner and Northern Memorial Parks to take a complimentary flower from our pop-up flower stands.
Coffee carts will also be at these sites, offering complimentary hot drinks.
Mother’s Day Remembrance Service
Join us together with Le Pine Funerals for a special Mother’s Day remembrance service at Lilydale Memorial Park, followed by light refreshments.
This annual, non-denominational service provides an opportunity to honour and remember mothers and mother figures who have passed, through poetry, tributes and shared reflections.
