To recognise Mother's Day, we are holding attend a range of free events across our sites.
Floral workshops
In the week leading up to Mother’s Day, we’re hosting free, one-hour floral workshops at Fawkner, Altona and Lilydale Memorial Parks.
Led by Hello Hydie Flowers, these hands-on sessions invite participants to create a native floral bouquet in honour of someone special.

Flower stands and complimentary refreshments
On Mother’s Day, Sunday 10 May, we invite you to Altona, Lilydale, Fawkner and Northern Memorial Parks to take a flower from our pop-up flower stands to commemorate your loved ones.
We’ll also be offering complimentary hot drinks from our coffee carts, creating a warm and welcoming space for visitors to pause, reflect and connect.
Mother’s Day Remembrance Service
Join GMCT and Le Pine Funerals for a special Mother’s Day remembrance service at Lilydale Memorial Park, followed by light refreshments.
This annual, non-denominational service provides an opportunity to honour and remember mothers and mother figures who have passed, through poetry, tributes and shared reflections.
