About All Souls Day Masses 2026
A sacred Christian tradition, All Souls’ Day honours and remembers those who have passed away. It’s a significant time for families who have lost loved ones to gather in prayer and reflection.
We have held services to commemorate All Souls’ Day across our cemeteries for over a decade and cherish the opportunity to bring neighbouring communities together in remembrance.
This year we’re hosting six Mass services across Melbourne throughout late October and early November. Community members are warmly invited to attend any of our services, regardless of which GMCT location they are connected to. Each service will feature hymns and prayers in a respectful and reflective setting.
All are welcome to attend. No registration is required.
Mass Schedule
Friday 30 October
Location: Lilydale Memorial Park, held in the Federation Chapel.
Time: 10:00am
This service will be led in English.
Saturday 31 October
Location: Keilor Cemetery, held in the Gallery of the Saints Mausoleum.
Time: 11:00am
This service will be led in English.
Saturday 31 October
Location: Altona Memorial Park, held in the Chapel of Repose.
Time: 2:00pm
This service will be led in Polish.
Sunday 1 November
Location: Altona Memorial Park, held in the Chapel of Repose
Time: 2:00pm
This service will be led in Maltese.
Sunday 1 November
Location: Fawkner Memorial Park, held in the Holy Angels Mausoleum.
Time: 2:30pm
This service will be led in Italian.
Saturday 7 November
Location: Werribee Cemetery, held in the Werribee Mausoleum Extension.
Time: 10:00am Mausoleum opening, 11.30am Mass service.
This service will be led in English.
