Tree memorials

These natural memorials provide shelter and shade to cemetery visitors and are available in a wide range of tree species.

Overview

Trees are an enduring symbol of new life, and a popular choice for establishing a meaningful memorial following a cremation. A wide range of options are available across our cemeteries and memorial parks. A family tree memorial, for example, typically features a number of plaques around the base of the tree, with the ashes interred in an urn under the canopy.

Living Legacy Forest

The Living Legacy tree memorial uses a scientific method to convert cremated remains to nutrients that help the tree grow. Rather than interring the ashes in an urn, they are infused at the roots to promote the tree's growth, creating a living tribute to your loved one.
