Opened in January 1961, Altona Memorial Park provides burial and cremation services to the western metropolitan region of Melbourne. The park is beautifully landscaped, offering a floral lawn cemetery and extensive memorial gardens.

Services and facilities available at Altona Memorial Park include burial, cremation, memorials, funeral venues and function facilities.

Burial options
As Altona Memorial Park is a lawn cemetery, memorial plaques are placed as close as possible to ground level. A standard grave accommodates two interments and up to four sets of cremated remains. There is also a Children's Lawn Cemetery, where plaques are set at ground level.

In the newer lawn sections memorial plaques are placed on pre-existing concrete beams set at ground level. No headstone or monuments are permitted.

7:00am - 5:30pm
Daylight savings 7:30pm

Office hours:
8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday
10:00am - 3:00pm on Saturday
Our office is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
