GMCT is supporting the conversation around end-of-life matters by participating in Dying To Know Day on 8 August.
Dying to Know Day is an annual day of action dedicated to bringing to life conversations and community actions around death, dying and bereavement. The day was created by The GroundSwell Project, a not-for-profit organisation that uses the arts to promote resilience and community well-being through all stages of life.
On 8 August, GMCT will be giving our communities an opportunity to see behind the scenes at our cemeteries.
You will be able to visit a mausoleum, tour our chapels and discuss GMCT's work with our friendly staff.
Fawkner Memorial Park, 1187 Sydney Road, Fawkner. Meet at the Holy Angels Mausoleum.
3.30pm – 5.00pm
